If something is wrong with a score, say which discipline, which round, and what you expected instead. That is almost always enough to find it. Rulebook mistakes get fixed first and fastest.
Scoring
The option isn't where I expected it on the card
In skeet the option is always scored in box 25, whenever you actually shoot it — at the first miss, or as a second low 8 at the end of a clean round. That is the NSSA rule, not a display choice. The app records the order you pulled the trigger separately from the box the bird scores in, so a card with the option taken at station 2 still reads correctly.
My doubles round was 24 targets, not 25
An NSSA skeet doubles round alternates: 24 targets, then 26, then 24, then 26. Four of them make a 100-target event. The app defaults to the 24 shape and lets you pick the 26 on the round sheet.
Where did my handicap round go?
Handicap is a separate ATA event from 16-yard singles, with its own average, so it appears under Handicap in Stats and History rather than under Trap. That is deliberate: a 23 from 25 yards and a 23 from 16 are not the same performance, and averaging them together produces a number that describes neither.
I started on post 3, not post 1
Tell the app on the round sheet, under YOUR POST. It walks the rotation from there and files every bird under the post you were actually standing on, so the per-post breakdown means something.
Apple Watch
The watch screen keeps going dark
Allow the Health permission when the app asks. Each round runs as a workout session, which is what keeps the screen awake between birds. Without it the app still scores; the watch just sleeps like any other.
The phone and watch disagree
They sync while both are awake and in range. Open the app on both and give it a moment. If a round is stuck, finish and save it on whichever device holds the birds you actually shot — the other will catch up.
Squads
Add shooters on the round sheet before you start. The app keeps one scorecard per shooter, which is what makes everyone's average honest, and it rotates through the squad the way the field does. Guests' rounds are kept in History but never counted in your own averages, runs or patches.
Getting your data out
Stats → the share button → Export rounds (one line per round, for charting) or Export all shots (one line per bird, for everything else). Both are ordinary spreadsheet files covering every discipline and every shooter, and both are yours. Nothing is held back behind the purchase.
Purchases
I bought it and it's asking again
Settings inside the app → Restore purchases. That asks Apple, using the Apple Account signed in on the device, whether the purchase exists. Make sure it's the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Do I have to buy it twice for my watch?
No. One purchase covers the iPhone app and the Apple Watch app.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — reportaproblem.apple.com. The free rounds are complete and unrestricted precisely so you can decide before paying.
Something is wrong, or missing
If the app scored something in a way your club or your association would not recognise, write in and say so — cite the rule if you know it, describe what happened if you don't. Feature requests are read too, and the ones that come from people who shoot every week tend to win.
